KPMG is currently seeking an Advisory Seasonal Intern for our NY Lottery Team practice.Responsibilities:Draw observation tasks performed for the New York Lottery (NYL), including attend assigned NYL draws, complete checklists documenting procedures performed, assist with the integrity and transparency of draw procedures performed, while identifying the key business issues affecting those resultsPerform a variety of administrative tasks to support the New York LotteryQualifications:Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing the following degrees/majors; Bachelors or Masters degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Finance, Business or equivalent programMust have a current/most recent GPA of 3.00 or aboveAbility to work approximately 30-40 hours per month over an 18-24-month periodDemonstrated quality service mindsetStrong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills and ability to navigate MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and OutlookExcellent communication, time management and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; resourceful in delivering high quality workMust reside within a commutable distance of the office for this position and be responsible for your own transportation, such as personal vehicle or public transportation, to get to and from office / client locations to satisfactorily fulfill your job duties, as determined by your practice leadershipWork location may be in the office, at client sites, or virtual/remote depending on business need.
